Return Trip From Florida

Our first night in Florida was rainy and actually pretty cold considering we'd just left a 100 degree North Carolina behind. After the rain came through the temperatures dropped down into the 70's which is a pretty big drop all at once.
We finally made it to the beach the next day though and spent the morning just enjoying the sun and having part of Jacksonville Beach pretty much all to ourselves. I don't think I've ever been anywhere where the beach wasn't packed with people all day.

I really love the beach and enjoy just sitting and getting some sun and listening to the ocean and the seagulls. It brings back my childhood and teenage memories which were spent at the Jersey shore (Wildwood was our spot back then).

I even wore a bikini for the first time in years even though I don't think I was ready for it yet. It will be nice to compare this picture to one I take next year after I tighten up and lose a little bit of the weight I am trying to lose.

We had breakfast in Florida and dinner in Savannah, Ga on the way home. Got to spend some time walking around and went to take our picture on Forrest Gump's bench but found they had moved it, so it's not there anymore. If you ever go to Savannah, you have to stop by the Candy Kitchen. I can't say enough about their chocolate.
Part of my 10 year plan is to get rid of a lot of my stuff and move to Florida by the beach. I've got a lot of things to do before I make this dream a reality but actually making the trip there was a big inspiration for me to get off my butt and make it happen. Maybe even a little sooner than I had planned.
What are some of your goals? What are your plans to reach them or make your dreams come true?
