Many people in fandoms find that the story really sparks their imaginations. So much so that they have little off shoot stories that pop in their minds. Much like vidding where you hear a song and can instantly put different scenes from your favorite show or movie to it, fanfiction is where you think up whole episodes, new stories or anything else with characters from your favorite TV show.

For anyone that enjoys writing and wants to try out something to exercise their skills, this is a great creative outlet for it.

As you've been following along you probably know I've got a recent thing for a few TV shows, one of which is Supernatural and I've had an idea kicking around for a fanfic for it for a little over a month now. I've joined Fanfiction.net recently to try my hand at it again. It's been since the days of Smallville, when I was first introduced to it, since I've tried my hand at it. I'll share the link as I go a long once I get started to see what anyone thinks.
