I was very excited this morning when I weighed in and lost 3 pounds! I know at least one pound of it was from walking all over the convention center yesterday for the comic book convention I went to.

I really enjoy going to con's and the best part is seeing how creative everyone is with their cos play costumes. This guy dresses as Jason was super scary. The details on his mask were awesome!

There was also a great group of people dressed up from the game Fallout. It was also neat seeing everyone walking through the city in their costumes.

This family got together and dressed up as Guardians of the Galaxy. How cool is that!

I took a friend who had never gone before an she really enjoyed it and can't wait to go to another one. We may even try our hand at Cos play when we go to the next one. I'll be sure to share the process of that if we do it.

We got there before it opened at 10:30 AM which was great because we didn't have to wait in a long line to get in. These are some of the people that got there early. Later one there was a line wrapped around the building to get in and it was much more crowded.

In all it was a great time. There were a lot of really good vendors there as well and I got my picture taken with Michael Rooker who play Merle Dixon in "The Walking Dead" and Yondu in "Guardians of the Galaxy". He seemed really nice, you didn't get to talk for but a few seconds because the line was so long and they were trying to get everyone in.

I got a few comments on my "Supernatural" shirt for AKF, their Always Keep Fighting program. Jared Padalecki, who plays Sam on "Supernatural", started talking about his depression and anxiety issues and eventually AFK was created.

In all I'd have to say it was a great day. Next weekend I'm going on a road trip to Florida for the weekend. I'll be sure to share that adventure as well

Well that is this weeks workout video. Sorry the sound is so in and out. I'm still working on the video end of it and hope to get it all sorted out soon. I'm going to try to get it back on schedule as well, this week was just super busy and I even missed a whole day. I picked up where we were supposed to be still though and will keep doing so going forward. Look for more on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and Saturday morning we'll take the weight up to 2 pound weights and stay at 2 reps of 5 exercises each. I hope you enjoy them. It's still interesting to watch yourself do them and see where you need to improve your form. I am thinking about adding jump roping and plank to them in the future. Probably once we get to the 5 pound weights.

Also if anyone knows any of the people that are in the pictures I posted, send me an email and I'll be sure to put their names to the photo for credit.
